The Journey Begins

There is so much too see and do on the Peninsula it can be a little overwhelming - where to start?? We love our food and wine and are very lucky to be surrounded by many wineries (I think a little over 50). Yesterday, after a late afternoon sketch, we finished the day with a perfect dinner at Montalto (winery incl. restaurant in Red Hill) with some friends. This area is so inspiring in so many ways I know it's going to influence my work greatly.

We are yet to visit the many galleries in this area so that's top of our list. I am still hoping to establish a relationship with a good gallery in the city (getting closer!) then interstate, but in the meantime I am sourcing a gallery or 2 here who I can work with. The first couple of months in 2009 will be about research, experimentation and working hard to produce a strong body of work.
