Some pics of an event I participated in the other week for Price Waterhouse. I had to help 130 employees complete a paint by numbers piece. It was almost tribal looking really (it suited the team event). I sketched up the outline and off they went, this was fun.
It's refreshing to get out of the studio and do these events, it's relaxed art, none of this highly conceptual stuff obviously. I had one participant explain to me how he was 'now a pro' at this after painting his deck the week before, he was so careful, brush strokes up and down and up and down, very neat. I loved that. Art is to be enjoyed and often it can be inaccessible and too serious, sometimes splashing around with a bit of color and enjoying the feeling and playing with the paint without thinking sell sell sell is refreshing. You kind of feel like a kid playing around with paint and pencils, back when you didn't "Know too much".

haha you look like you're having a ball - I think your shirt is now a work of art in itself:)
I did indeed, it was funny. My shirt is my actual painting shirt (had to look the part) I should have put some paint brushes in my hair and stuck a palette to my shirt or something but I didn't have time..
