My husband and I spent a month in Europe in 2006 - it was our honeymoon. We captured what we could in a shared journal, Paul did the writing and I did the drawing. We love looking through this little treasure...
I produced two large watercolors from this journal (also from the many photos we took!). One I gave to my mother and the other to my mother in law. I was then commissioned to do another two for a client who saw and loved the first two. She also had fond memories of Venice and they took her straight back there.
Art is my life, if I didn't sell a thing I would still be in love with it and do it as much as I possibly could. I live and breathe it, it's an obsession. As an artist it can hurt to feel commercial pressure. It's refreshing to look at something I have done purely for us and not to sell.

Thanks Daniel! I think one day I will photocopy the pages and put them into a frame...somehow!
