I have committed to doing 25 sketches daily in my book, drawing inspiration from the same set of 25 photos. In a couple of weeks I will look back at early sketches and compare. The more I draw the better I understand my subject, and the better I get at describing it in my own way.
The set of photos I find particularly inspiring. They are photos from weddings. I love them because there are some very candid shots of family and friends. Family dynamics interest me, family gatherings interest me.
