I popped into one of my regular art supply shops yesterday in Church St, Richmond and picked up a slab of Bockingford paper for half price. It's usually an affordable paper anyway, but I couldn't resist buying a dozen sheets for $3.50 each. That was it though - I bought all they had left. And I must say the lady who served me there who I haven't seen there before, was fabulous! I left the store with a big smile on my face.
I got home and drew for a few hours on the balcony - nothing better. I think every artist loves a new influx of materials. I didn't do my 20 sketchbook drawings but I figure some larger works can make up for that.
